(Next event: The Celtic Cup Coffee House in Tullahoma on September 13)
All people (all ages, all drawing skill levels) are welcome! Bring your pencils, pens, crayons and your sketchbooks or pads of paper. Every event is FREE!
Today drawing is important because it helps us to slow down and connect with the world before us! Typically we look at things as if they are separate from us and we name, label and judge what we see. (That's a tall tree, a strange house, an old man.) And then we look away. BUT when we draw - we focus our attention and we begin to see so much more! We begin to feel the "Oneness of Energy" that we share with the world around us.
Heather Williams created this event from an idea she got in August 2025 when the Celtic Cup (a coffee house in Tullahoma, TN) displayed her drawings and paintings. She wants to share with others the benefits of drawing. Heather is the author of the book: Drawing as a Sacred Activity. She is a retired Art and Sp Ed Teacher. She shares valuable keys to drawing with students who come to her online drawing class. Enjoy her Drawings & Meditations Book. And her podcast: sallyfox.substack.com/p/heather-williams-drawing-as-a-sacred. Heather has been a High Watch Mentor in The Prosperos School of Ontology since 1978. She is a Tullahoma resident.
